Go Green Juice

Dark green leafy vegetables are high in folic acid, a vitamin responsible for lowering homocysteine levels in the blood. High homocysteine levels contribute to low mood and depression so a daily Go Green Juice is always part of my prescription.

Ingredients

5 kale leaves
Handful of spinach
1 small cucumber
1 kiwi fruit
1 small green apple
1 lime
Small knob of ginger 

Method

  1. Wash all ingredients, cut into small pieces and juice. (I like using Hurom cold pressed juicers).
  2. Transfer to glass and consume straight away or store in glass jar in fridge.
